ANCHORAGE, AK (August 11, 2011) -- Alaska State School Bus Inspectors Danny Allen and Garry Wolske once again presented Forsythe Transportation with a certificate for Best Maintained Large Sized School Bus Fleet today.
Forsythe Transportation has won this certificate for every inspection performed since the Company took over the Anchorage School District school bus contract in September 2007.
"Our commitment to safety, maintenance and customer service is proven by continuing to demonstrate the highest maintenance standards in Alaska," said Bill Forsythe, CEO. Mark Foster, COO, added, "We have significantly improved the maintenance of this fleet, and by doing so, have inspired an increase in the maintenance of school buses across the State to compete with us."
The certificate was presented to Foster and Forsythe Transportation's General Manager of its Anchorage location, Joe Sanchez. "We are very serious about ensuring that the Anchorage students ride in the safest and best maintained school buses possible," said Sanchez. "We are very pleased to have continued this stellar performance and are very proud of our maintenance team," he added.
