ETIWANDA, CA (June 24, 2010) -- The Etiwanda School District has hired Forsythe Transportation to operate its school bus service. On Thursday, June 24, 2010 the School Board approved award of the School Bus contract to Forsythe Transportation Inc. of Gainesville, Texas.

Forsythe Transportation will take over the bus service July 1. “We are very excited to have Forsythe Transportation as our school bus provider. They have an outstanding record of providing safe and reliable buses to school districts across the country” said Doug Claflin, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services.

The company operates buses throughout the country, including districts in California and Alaska. In addition, they also operate transit properties in Virginia and Pennsylvania.

"We are very confident we hired a company that will do a great job delivering school bus services to our children," Claflin said.
