Forsythe Transportation Wins 2011 APTA Gold Bus Safety Award for Their Operation of Arlington Transit MEMPHIS, TN (May 22, 2011) -- Forsythe Transportation has won the 2011 American Public Transit Association (APTA) Gold Bus Safety Award in the bus contractor category. Forsythe Transportation was cited for the Customer Service and Safety Program they instituted in July 2009 at Arlington Transit in Arlington, VA (ART). The award will be presented at the 2011 APTA Bus and Paratransit Conference on May 22, 2011 in Memphis, Tennessee at the opening session of the conference.

Anchorage Alaska Awards 5-Year School Bus Contract Extension to Forsythe Transportation ANCHORAGE, AK (March 25, 2011) -- On Tuesday, March 22, 2011, the Anchorage School Board approved a 5-year contract extension with Forsythe Transportation to continue operating pupil transportation for the Anchorage School District. The 5-year extension term begins July 1, 2011.
