On Thursday, June 24, 2010 the School Board approved award of the School Bus contract to Forsythe Transportation Inc. of Gainesville, Texas.

Forsythe Transportation's Anchorage School Bus Operations Win Top Maintenance Awards from State of Alaska ANCHORAGE, AK (June 16, 2010) -- Forsythe Transportation has been notified by the State of Alaska's School Bus Inspection Team that it has received the Best Maintained Large School Bus Fleet award in Alaska for its Anchorage Central facility for the 6th consecutive time. Forsythe Transportation's Eagle River bus facility in Chugiak, Alaska, has also won the top award for the Best Maintained Mid-Size Fleet for the 4th consecutive period. By State law, all school bus operations in the State must go through a rigid maintenance inspection twice a year.

Westmoreland Transit Awards Contract to Forsythe Transportation WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA (June 11, 2010) -- The Westmoreland County Transit Authority has hired Forsythe Transportation to run its bus service for the next five years. On Thursday, June 3, the Board approved award of the operations contract to Forsythe Transportation Inc. of Gainesville, Texas. The company will operate and maintain the authority's fleet of more than 30 buses.
